Attend a Local 139 Apprenticeship Information Session this month: 

Tuesday, March 13th  – 9:00 AM
Tuesday, March 27th – 9:00 AM
Tuesday, April 10th – 9:00 AM
Tuesday, April 24th – 9:00 AM

No previous experience required.

Applicants must bring the following items:

High school diploma or GED
Driver’s license
Employment history
$15 for Job Skills Test

Upon successful completion of these minimum requirements, applicants will be issued a Letter of Eligibility (sent out in March).

Although the training center will keep a list of qualified applicants that will be available to prospective employers, your best opportunity of obtaining employment as an apprentice Operating Engineer is to contact contractors or job supervisors personally and give them a copy of your Letter of Eligibility.

Your Letter of Eligibility will remain in effect for one year. If you do not get a job within the year, you must notify the training center whether you have continued interest in this trade.
