Representatives from the Local 139 Political Action Committee and Construction Business Group were in attendance on Friday, speaking on behalf of the construction industry and the work of the Operating Engineers. The goal of the gathering was to raise funds for Tammy Baldwin’s 2018 re-election campaign and to show the industries’ support for her work with transportation and water infrastructure funding and ‘Buy America’ legislation which will help manufacturing, construction and other industries that put American skilled labor to work.
