A pair of former Local 139 fleet vehicles are being put to use at the Luxemburg Speedway, thanks to the involvement of Operator Robert Waechter, who has been associated with and raced at the dirt track for 29 years. The pickup truck and auto are being used to pack the track surface prior to racing, and they serve sometimes as pace vehicles. Bearing Local 139-related advertising, they are showcased as well while the National Anthem is played prior to racing. Furthermore, the vehicles are used to help clear debris following accidents, while the caution flag is observed.
