2022 Labor Day Parade List
Celebrate Labor Day this weekend in communities throughout Wisconsin by remembering those who made sacrifices for benefits often taken for granted, such as weekends off, worker protections, vacation time, overtime pay, and more.
Local 139 will be participating in the following Labor Day parades:
DISTRICT A
MILWAUKEE
Monday, September 5
The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at Zeidler Union Square. The lineup begins at 9:00 a.m. at 4th Street and Michigan Ave. The buses will stop transporting people at 10:00 a.m. from Lot P (Henry W Maier Festival Park, E Erie St, Milwaukee). The route ends at the Summerfest Grounds with a free, family-friendly festival featuring live music, children’s entertainment, a classic car show, and a raffle.

HILLSBORO
Monday, September 5
The parade starts at 10:30 a.m on Monday, September 5. The parade lineup starts on E. Madison Street & Wood Ave. Volunteers should assemble by 9:30 a.m. at the Vernon County Highway Department shop. Hillsboro Firemen’s Labor Day Celebration Fundraiser and Firemen’s chicken dinner to follow.

Monday, September 5
The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. Lineup begins at 8:30 a.m. at Loggers Field. Activities to follow at Copeland Park.

The parade starts at 4:00 p.m. The lineup begins at 3:00 p.m. on Cherry Street and West Wausau Ave., across from United Health Group. The parade proceeds down 3rd Ave. and ends at the Wausau Labor Temple. Meet after in Marathon Park with Pizza and refreshments.

Monday, September 5
The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. from Menasha’s Curtis Reed Square.
The lineup begins at 9:00 a.m. on Broad Street, Menasha.
Activities to follow from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Neenah Labor Temple, 157 S. Green Bay Road, Neenah. The fest will feature a corn roast, classic rock music by The Machine Band from noon to 5 p.m., a rummage sale, a 50/50 cash raffle with a drawing at 5 p.m., with food, beverage, and more!
